The Township of Ocean is closing the Township Offices to the Public and Vendors in abundance of caution due to COVID19. This is for the health and safety of the residents and staff, starting Monday, November 30, 2020 through the end of the year.
All departments will be available to assist the residents by phone, email, US Mail, fax or the drop boxes that are in front of Town Hall and Construction and Zoning.
A resident can set up an appointment to meet with a Department Head outside the office by contacting the department. A meeting can be set up based on need and if it cannot be handled over the phone/e-mail etc.

All inspections will need to be assessed on an as needed basis. All residents/developers/builders will need to answer the specific screening questions.
ALL paperwork can be dropped in drop box in front of office (200 Wells Mills Road)
or mailed. The Drop box will be emptied and processed at a minimum 2x per day - accept weekends.

The Township Committee will be hold meetings involving Township Committee, Boards or Commission through zoom and the information will be posted on the Township website.
The Public is encouraged to utilize the Township’s website: www.twpoceannj.gov

Payment for Taxes and Utility:Checks can be dropped in envelope in the mailbox in front of Town Hall, 50 Railroad Avenue at any time. This payment box has a security camera.
Construction & Zoning Office – There is a Drop box in front of - 200 Wells Mills Road for permits & payments. Directly under the awning in front of the building on the ramp. This payment box has a security camera.

Are you having flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath?
In the last 14 days have you traveled to a high-risk area for transmission
Have you been in close contact with someone confirmed or is being evaluated
