Through collaborative problem solving with the community and aggressive pursuit of criminals, the Ocean Township Police Department endeavors to keep our community save and secure.

A community oriented policing philosophy serves a guiding principal for the department.  Our departments values emphasize the importance of being leaders in the community and builds relationships on trust.  This approach encourages citizen involvement and allows our team to provide quality services that anticipate and respond to the changing needs of the community.

The mission of the Ocean Township Police Department is to provide effective and efficient police services, through a partnership with the community, to prevent and deter crime as well as reduce the fear of the crime, protect property along with individual rights, and improve traffic safety through education and enforcement.
